Trained under great musicians like Sri Kaushal Gupta, Late Sri Chander Bhan Kishore Srivastava and Late Sri Lalji Srivastava. His professional Qualification includes M.A (Tabla) from Khairagarh University, Sangeet Prabhakar and Sangeet Praveen from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
He has performed with many renowned artists such as Pt. Birju Maharaj, Rajan – Sajan Mishra, Sri Pratap Pawar, Pt. Anupam Rai, Ajay Pohankar, Saswati Sen etc across the world.
Over his 25 year long career he has taught at well established institutions such as Baran Swar Sangitalaya (Allahabad), Pt. Jai Lal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya (Allahabad) & Kala Ashram Institute of Pt. Birju Maharaj (New Delhi). He is Head of department (Music) at Delhi Public School, creating many more saplings to spread music across the world.
He is soulmate of Vidushi Preeti Srivastava Ji who is a renowned Kathak Dancer and a proud father of Master Rudraksh who is a child prodigy with a born gift of music. Master Rudraksh’s name was entered in the “Wonder Book of World Records” and the “Genius Book of World Records”, in 2016.
